# Tool Analytics

> Track individual tool performance

Tool Analytics provides detailed performance monitoring and usage insights for individual tools within your MCP servers. Analyze tool-specific metrics, compare performance across tools, and optimize tool implementations for better AI agent interactions.

## Tool Selection and Navigation

When a tool is selected, you'll see:

* **Tool name and description**: Clear identification of the selected tool
* **Performance metrics**: Same comprehensive analytics as server-level
* **Usage statistics**: Tool-specific execution data
* **Historical trends**: Performance changes over time

## Key Tool Metrics

Tool analytics display the same core metrics as server analytics, but focused on individual tool performance:

> **Tool Requests**
>
> Total number of executions for this specific tool

> **Success Rate**
>
> Percentage of successful tool executions vs total attempts

> **Failures**
>
> Number of failed executions, errors, or timeouts for this tool

> **Execution Time**
>
> Average time taken for tool execution and response
